Deuteronomy 31:6 – “Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you.”
Risk cannot be entirely eliminated. Just as it’s essential to get useful information, it’s vital to align critical people around you.
Resistance to change is a fact of life. If you want change to take hold, you must have the right borders to contain the forces working against your effort.
Being rooted and established in love, there are still struggles with consistency and distraction.
Writing down your prayers may help, not only with content but also with concentration, devotion, mediation, thanksgiving, and worshipping God for who He is.
For this reason, I kneel before the Father, from whom His whole family in heaven and on earth derives its name. I pray that out of His glorious riches, He may strengthen you with power through His Spirit in your inner being so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the saints, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge — that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God” (Ephesians 3:14-19).
Romans 8:26, “In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us through wordless groans.” (NIV)
